OUR MISSION is to become the nationally recognised Centre of Excellence for the provision of rugby union football in the North West of Ireland at all age levels
OUR CLUB ETHOS is that the game of rugby and all associated club activities should be provided and promoted by the club in a positive way to ensure the following: Participation, Enjoyment, Development of Positive Life Skills and Player development.
Both our mission statement and our club ethos are central to our continued development which is being achieved through a number of current and future initiatives including:
Two new full sized rugby pitches just completed at the Glebe and ready for games at the commencement of the 2008 season.
Proposed New Club House and changing facilities to be located at the Glebe to be ready for the commencement of the 2010 season
Installation of floodlights on our main pitch at “Dave Gallaher Memorial Park.” Due for completion for the commencement of the 2010 season.
Continued development of our youth and mini rugby sections of the club.
Continued development of our senior section of the club.
Formation of Ladies rugby teams in association with the Ulster Branch IRFU
Annual “Dave Gallaher Exchange” to the Ponsonby Club in New Zealand open to all club members.
Continued support of the DCRP “Donegal County Rugby Community Project” in association with the IRFU
Partnership with LYIT for Rugby Development in the College
