Ireland v England

By Letterkenny Rugby

6 Nations starts this weekend - Ireland v England Saturday 4.45pm - McCafferty's Bar, Letterkenny

“I think rugby is 80 per cent mental.” Francois Hougaard

All rugby enthusiasts are getting excited at the prospect of the Guinness 6 Nations Championship starting this weekend.
Holders and Grand Slam Champions Ireland will take on England in a mouth watering clash in Aviva on Saturday at 4.45pm. This match will start the annual rugby party as Ireland take on their arch rivals and neighbours over the next 7 weeks to possibly win back to back Grand Slams and three 6 Nations in succession. This first match could well be the title decider despite what Wales and France might have to say. In truth this is a wide open competition, with all teams with the exception of Italy having varying chances of success.

Please come down to McCafferty's bar to enjoy the game in a superb setting and enjoy the atmosphere. The Scrummage machine, as featured on BT Sport, will be there to let punters try their luck to beat Letterkenny RFC 1st XV in generating some brute force.

All welcome.
