Who should be vetted?

Republic of Ireland - All those involved in regular work or contact with, children or vulnerable adults i.e. ALL MINI and YOUTH COACHES.

Garda Vetting needs to be renewed every 3 years - a list of those Coaches who need to renew their Garda Vetting will be posted here and also shared with the Mini and Youth Convenors. It is the responsibility of every Coach to ensure their vetting is up to date.

Do Not Use Old Form.

Please note that an ID check is to be carried out by the Child Welfare Officer before you submit the Inviter Form to the IRFU. Please follow the notes when completing the ID form to ensure the vet can be processed as quickly as possible. Please email copies of ID documents but do not send ORIGINAL ID documents to the IRFU.

All Coaches are required to read and sign the Declaration of Intent Form - see club Document Section. These should be returned to Child Welfare Officer.
