Conor O'Shea was not happy, but Letterkenny winger Sam MacGinty was delighted to represent Letterkenny Rugby Club in Soldier Field Chicago for Ireland V Italy. Proudly pictured in his club top, sponsored by Greentrack Agri Consultants, also sporting the Jigsaw logo, Sam attended with a Leinster rep Eoghan Flanagan and they had a great day out. It was not the All Blacks, but the electric pace made it an event to remember. And they got to cheer for Ian McKinley ex Ireland Under 20, when he made his debut for Italy against his home team.
Jordan Larmour was happy as was Will Addison and Joe Carbery and the whole Irish contingent, but for the Italians it was a rough day at the office.
