Carl Quinn's U16 squad travelled to Co Tyrone this morning to take on Dungannon in their own back yard. Despite falling behind to early Dungannon scores, the true character of this team shone through to surge back into the lead to secure a place in the final.
Letterkenny finished as victors by 27 points to 14 as Rory MacGinty scored a hatrick of tries, with great scores also coming from Fabio Cinquemani and Lochlin O'Dea.

Last weekend saw the U18s beat Virgina and the U14s beat Cooke to secure places in the finals in the U18 Cup and the U14 Shield.

The achievement of all three squads to be still playing and training at this stage of the season and to reach provincial finals is a testament to the players and coaches involved. The support from the parents and club members to get the teams to this level and play so well, bodes well for the future of rugby in Letterkenny and Donegal.

Well done to everyone involved, a remarkable achievement!
