The lads arrived in good spirits in Donegal town on a wet damp morning looking to keep their unbeaten run intact.
Donegal were only able to field 10 players so Letterkenny gave them 5 players so that a match could be played.
Donegal got the game under way and Letterkenny dominated from the off with some fine interchange play and some good line breaks with Ewan Douglas getting his name on the score sheet first of all with a lovely try in the right corner. The conversion was missed by Kaymin on a breezy morning from way out right leaving it {0 - 5] after 2 mins.
Letterkenny again from receiving the ball quickly make their way up the field and Ewan again finds himself over the try line with ball in hand to get his second of the day. Again the conversion from out wide is missed in the stiff breeze just falling short of the crossbar. score after 5 mins of play [0 - 10].
Again letterkenny continue to play some dogged rugby and make their way back into the 22 where Conor Mangan breaks from the back of a ruck and crashes over the line for Letterkenny's third try and the conversion this time from Kaymin is straight and true leaving the score after 10 mins at [0 - 17].
Letterkenny continue to make the most of some great running by forwards and backs alike and Isaac this time adds his name to the score sheet with a fine individual run, the conversion is missed and the score remains at [0 -22] after 15 mins.
Letterkenny continue to dominate and find themselves in the 22 again where this time Conor Smyth goes on a surging run and breaks several tackles to cross the line. Conversion missed and the score after 20 mins [0 - 27].
Again Letterkenny retain possession and make their way up the field and with some great hands out the back line the ball is received by Ewan Douglas who completes his hat-trick on the day. On a tough kicking day the conversion is missed from way out right [0 - 32].
This time Kaymin goes on one of his runs and when the last man for Donegal attempts to tackle him he chips the ball over his head where it bounces short of the line but with some quick thinking and some great football skills Kaymin manages to control the ball with his feet and tap it over the line where he dives on it to score Letterkenny's 7th Try of the day the score now at HT [0 - 37].

With the points already secured the coaches empty the bench and change up the Donegal team giving them more of their strong players and ensuring everyone got some game time on the day.
This time from the kick off Letterkenny turnover possession and Odhrán Finn is the wide receiver and he scores in the corner. Conversion drifts left and wide and the score is [0 - 42].
Next up is Mathew Duffy who scores a great try in the right corner and again the conversion misses the target. [ 0 - 47].
This time Ben Hopkins peels from the back of a maul and spots the gap and crashes over to the right of the posts, Ben converts his own try with a fine kick. [ 0 - 54].
And finally Jack Speer makes his mark having received the ball from the back of a maul and he breaks through several tackles to ground the ball out wide. Ben attempts the conversion again on a windy day for kickers and the conversion is narrowly missed leaving the final score on the day at [ 0 - 59].

Another convincing performance by the visitors and a great opportunity for all players to get some game time, special thanks to the coaches for their continued support and to the parents who travelled on a cold winters morning to Donegal Town.
