Letterkenny u18s travelled to Ballymoney for their 2nd game of the league. It wasn't looking good with so many boys out sick or injured aswell as a few boys playing with injuries.
Ballymoney came out very strongly and were threatening the Letterkenny line for the first 10min. Then against the run of play David Henry kicked up field and ran the length of the field grubbering the ball to set up the first try of the game. Ballymoney continued to play a physical game straight up the middle but some great defense kept them at bay. When Letterkenny did run the ball there was some incredible rugby but we were our own worst enemy giving away opportunity after opportunity. We still managed to dominate the game with 4 tries and 3 conversions to Ballymoneys 2 tries. Letterkenny won 26-10 but unfortunately have 2 serious injuries to Conal Boyle and Jynaid Rayes. A solid, gutsy performance with stand out games from Jack Gibbons, Finn Duffy, David Henry and Cian Arenhold. Well done boys
