After 2 good weeks of training and preparation a huge squad of boys turned up to play Omagh in the 1/4 finals.
There had been a lot of talk about Omagh loading their team with boys from the school and it turned out to be so but that had no effect on a very confident Letterkenny team.
The guys took the game to Omagh from the kickoff in what has to have been the best start of the season and it wasn't long before the pack drove over the line for Conor Mangan to score. What followed then was probably one of the most incredible team displays I have seen and there is not one boy who didn't step up today. Letterkenny dominated the scrums and mauls and every man played his heart out. The other try scorers were Cathair McGrory( in his first game for Letterkenny), David Henry, Ewan Douglas, Tiernan McFadden and RUAN MCCLINTOCK!! ????. David Henry was spot on off the tee getting 5 out of 6. Letterkenny dominated to win 40-8 in a game where only one team deserved to win.

I am always against MOTM especially in a game like today's but I have to give it to Conor Mangan. He played out of his skin today and was everywhere. Well done Conor and again well done guys. YOU WERE PHENOMENAL!!!
