With a full squad LK U14's arrived at Dromore looking for there first win the league on a very windy day.
But alas Dromore had only 12 players so LK U14's had to drop 3 players to be subs.
The game started off with LK U14's asleep as Dromore ran in a try in the first few seconds of the game.
I think memories of Randalstown came back to LK U14's because at the restart LK U14's got stuck in immediately and if Dromore thought this game was going to easy they got a shock as LK U14's started to move the ball from one side of the pitch to the other and within 4 minutes Conor McMenamin went in for a try leaving a trail of Dromore body's behind him.
The restart saw LK U14's come straight back at Dromore who put in some good tackles to try and slow up LK U14's but to no avail as Conor went in for his second try after 8 minutes.
The game started to settle down after the flurry of try's and both teams put in good tackles.
LK U14's had some good runs from James Adam Conor m. Keenan Donnchadh and Fabio.
Though at some stages of the first half the handeling errors started to creep in at crucial times and getting to rucks was very slow at times but right at the 25th minute Fabio sprints in to score a try.
Second half nearly started the same with Dromore coming close to scoring a try in the first few seconds of the half again but with good tackling from James Adam Fabio they were stopped in there tracks. LK U14's picked up the pace a bit moe and started to win rucks line outs and scrums until the ref put them to uncontested scrums.
10 minutes in and Fabio was in for a second try after good handling skills from the Backs.
The game progressed and LK U14's looked comfortable in the way they where playing with the line outs going good the tackles going in and the running with the ball in hand going well lead to Fabio going in for another try on 15 minutes which he converted.
Dromore got another 2Trys with conversions after LK U14's concentration seemed to laps.
But right at the end in the 25 minute Donnchadh breaks a couple of tackles to go over for the last try of the Game.
