Letterkenny U14’s travelled to table-toppers Ballymena and
continued the festive season of giving – this time a series of
tries throughout the match.
The Letterkenny lads were ‘game’ throughout but did not
‘gobble’ out of any tackles - Truth be told they were simply
beaten by the better team of the day / season.
Highlight for Letterkenny was a fine try by David Ilie running
in from outside the 22 and also the fact that the team kept
going throughout despite being pegged back by a strong
Ballymena U14 team this year. Also, thanks to the Ballymena
team & coaches for playing out a development session after
the initial contest allowing the whole Letterkenny squad to
get valuable match time against a well drilled outfit. A great
experience and lessons learned for upcoming matches! Next
up is Ballymoney at home and chance to get back to winning
ways!
